Last season, Texas Jr Brahmas got solid goaltending by SHC-player Anton Olsson. In 32 games, Olsson posted a .933 SVS% for the WSHL club, and was called up to the NAHL by both Amarillo Bulls and Corpus Christi Ice Rays where he also was stellar between the pipes. As Olsson moves onto NCAA hockey next season, the Brahmas have secured another Swedish goaltender to pick up where Olsson took off.
Joakim Moritz from Tegs SK has been signed by the Brahmas to play net for them in the 2011-2012 season. Moritz has a strong background from both junior hockey and competition against men. Joakim is looking to play NCAA hockey in the future, and with the Texas Brahmas and Coach Jeremy Law’s unmatched track record of moving player to higher levels of hockey both Joakim and the Brahmas are thrilled!
