Dahlstrom to NCAA Division I

Goaltender, Mathias Dahlstrom has committed to NCAA Division 1, Northern Michigan University. Dahlstrom currently plays with the Chicago Steel of the USHL and carries a .911 % and a 2.99 GAA while leading the league in minutes played.

The Wildcats play in the CCHA among some of the top competition in the nation such as Ohio State, Michigan State, Notre Dame, and University of Michigan, etc.

Dahlstrom played last season for the Kenai River Brown Bears of the NAHL before moving to the USHL’s Chicago Steel. Mathias said that he would like to thank “his family, Chicago Steel Goalie Coach, Kelly Gee, the entire Steel organization and coaching staff, as well as Oliver David the head coach for Kenai River for helping him prepare and get ready for NCAA Hockey”.
