American Christmas, a new and very enjoyable experience that I will remember the rest of my life. I spend the two weeks break that we had from hockey with my wonderful billet family, visiting the whole family and it is pretty amazing how nice and kind the people are here. They have truly welcomed me with opened arms which I am extremely grateful for. One other big happening was that me and my billet brothers went to the Foxborough and the NHL Winter Classic! It was an absolutely amazing once in a life time experience!

We came back from break last week and started it off with a long and tough practice to get all the Christmas food out of our systems. I had really missed hockey during the break so it felt nice to finally be back out there even though it was tough. The week led up to playing the two top teams in our division this past weekend. We did our best games of the year…
Good efforts, unfortunately the puck bounced post-out instead of post-in for us so we ended up on the losing side both of the games. We take the good parts with us though because this upcoming weekend is the weekend of our last showcase this season in Hooksett, NH. We are playing important games were every point will be extremely valuable in the end for the upcoming playoff which is only 12 games away. Saturday´s game is going to be extra special for me since we are facing the Hartford Jr. Wolfpack. One of my best friend that I have played with during the last five or six years back in Sweden is playing for them so this will be the first time playing against him and, yes obviously I will give him an extra hard time out there haha.
It is the stretch of the season right now, I have already been here for almost five months which is insane! Time really flies when you are having fun. I will try to stay updated more frequently in the future now that the holidays are over.
I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and I wish you a happy new year!
