Big strong defenseman, Eric Eriksson has signed with the New England Huskies of the Eastern Junior Hockey League. Eriksson who measures 6’5” and weighs in at 220 pounds will guard the blue line for the Huskies.
Considered a smooth skater with good puck moving skills, Eriksson hopes to take a defensive role on the team as well as contribute offensively when called upon. The Huskies are coached by Paul Jenkins and compete in the highly scouted EJHL. Eriksson’s goal is to play College Hockey and by playing in the EJHL he will get exceptional exposure to a large number of NCAA schools.
Eric previously played for Malmö in the J20 Superelit as well as AIK Härnösand in Division 1 in Sweden.
